The Faculty of Education Library was established in 1947 within the former College of Education. The library is rich with humanities literature and pedagogic studies, it also offers inter-libarary loans to its members. Comprising a total of 380 square metres, it offers 65 seats in the reading room for students and other visitors.

By 1964 it had 11,930 items and 50 periodical titles. Today the library collection has 110,000 book titles and 253 periodicals titles. A virtual library with databases has also been developed; the unit is also a part of the COBISS - Slovene Virtual Library database.
