The association organises a series of "square table" discussions, in which the public can discuss architecture with experts in the field. It occasionally sets up an architectural help centre that provides architecture advice to the general public.
The biennial exhibition Architecture Uncovered presents the work of DAD members. The similarly titled exhibition Architecture Uncovered 1900–2000 in the Urban Municipality of Novo Mesto was a visionary research project aimed at extensively documenting and assessing the architectural heritage of the city of Novo Mesto. The association collaborated closely with the municipality for this project.
The association organised several events on the occasion of the anniversary of the late architect and academic(1904–1984).
Since 2014, the Architects' Society of Dolenjska Region and Bela Krajina has organised a Jane's Walk in Novo mesto. The international Jane's Walk project, named after renowned urban theorist Jane Jacobs (1916–2006), organises volunteer-led walking tours aimed at deepening residents' bonds with the cities in which they live, work and play.
