The European Prize for Urban Public Space, a biennial competition organised by seven European institutions, was awarded to ATELIERarhitekti in 2012 for their renovation work on the banks of the Ljubljanica River in Ljublana. Apart from his duties at ATELIERarhitekti, Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. His early work includes the renovation of the Cekin Mansion, which now houses the National Museum of Contemporary History, and work on a number of schools. The Secondary School of Nursing in Ljubljana was a finalist for the Mies van der Rohe Prize for best European architecture in 1998.is also a professor at the
ATELIERarhitekti took shape following a long period of collaboration withand . The two went on to establish the studio, while ATELIERarhitekti transformed into an open collective of architects who work simultaneously on the same project.
